With over thirty years forestry experience and six seasons as a park ranger, Ken has direct knowledge of the subjects he photographs.  His files are growing rapidly and include both 35mm transparencies and digital images.  If the image you need is not in our files, we may be able to go out and produce it for you.  Fees for special requests are negotiable and may be usual publication rates, provided that the task is not extensive and the image copyright remains with Ken Hires.

In addition to photography, Ken is a published author of numerous natural history articles.  If you need someone who knows the natural world and has the ability to provide both text and photography, please call (509) 238-4132 or email ken@kenhires.com for assignments.
